We are hoping to find a special home for Forrest, a puppy that was rescued in Detroit after being shot with a BB gun. In early December, the MHS Rescue Department received a call about a puppy who had possibly been hit by a car. We discovered that he had in fact been shot with a BB gun, which resulted in loss of function of one of his back legs. Forrest has had a long and difficult recovery, but is now looking for a new family who will be able to assist with some of his special needs.
